Deadline approaching for Mount Prospect vehicle stickers

Mount Prospect is reminding residents that all vehicles registered in the village must display a 2019-2020 vehicle sticker by May 1.

Vehicle sticker prices are $45 for passenger automobiles; $30 for motorcycles and motorbikes; and $68 for Class B trucks. Full-size trucks are charged by gross vehicle weight.

Stickers not purchased by April 30 will be subject to a 50 percent late penalty. Reduced rates are available for residents 65 years of age and older.

They can be ordered online at mountprospect.org/vehiclestickers or purchased at village hall, 50 S. Emerson St. Stickers also are available at Elmhurst Road Currency Exchange, 1698 S. Elmhurst Road, #106 ($2 service fee per sticker applies at currency exchange).

Renewal applications were mailed to residents and businesses in early February. Those who did not receive a renewal application in the mail are still responsible for purchasing a 2019-2020 sticker.
