Indianapolis woman charged following death of Lebanon man
LEBANON, Ind. (AP) - Police have charged an Indianapolis woman with murder in connection with the death of a Lebanon man in a fire at his home.
Lebanon Police Detective Tony Bayles confirmed the murder charge against 42-year-old Tina M. Hoover and said additional charges were expected to be filed Friday. She was being held without bond following her arrest Thursday.
Forty-four-year-old David Dickerson died in the May 21 fire that left his wife, Angela, and Hoover injured. Police and Boone County sheriff's deputies were unable to reach Dickerson, who was trapped in a bedroom.
A neighbor, Troy Hausman, told The Lebanon Reporter (http://bit.ly/25Dpdol ) that Hoover had been staying at the Dickersons' home about 25 miles northwest of Indianapolis.
It wasn't clear if Hoover has an attorney.
