Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center Home to Holiday Performances
The sounds of the season will resonate throughout Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center during the holidays. Performances will be presented by several Palatine Park District programs including Allegro Community Chorus, Palatine Children's Chorus, and Palatine Dance. Additional concerts will be offered by Palatine Concert Band - an affiliate of the District, and Illinois Brass Band.

Palatine Concert Band, November 30 at 7:00pm. Palatine Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Frederick Lowe, presents its Holiday Music Concert. Come to enjoy an evening of seasonal favorites including a sing-a-long and a visit from Santa. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, and $1 for children under 12.
Palatine Dance Program, December 1 at 4:00pm and 7:00pm. The talented performers of Palatine Dance present "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Kick off your holiday season in Who-ville as program members dance their way through Dr. Seuss's beloved tale of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Cindy-Lou Who, Max the Dog, and even the Mouses will be tapping, leaping, and turning to help the Grinch find the True Meaning of the Season. Welcome all Whos, far and near. Palatine Dance is a program of Palatine Park District. Tickets are $8, free for ages 2 and under.
Illinois Brass Band, December 2 at 2:00 pm. Dr. Jonathan Corry and The Illinois Brass Band present "Holiday Classics" including a cheerful mix of traditional carols, holiday classics, and jazzy updates of Christmas favorites. Vocalist Ms. Amy Keipert will be featured with the band and lead the traditional sing along. This family friendly program is suitable for all ages. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for ages 18 and under, and $10 for adults in groups of 10 or more.
Allegro Community Chorus, December 7 at 7:30 pm. Allegro's annual holiday concert entitled "Sing, Sing, Sing!" will explore themes of earthly and spiritual harmony, reconciliation, and celebration featuring jazz, folk, spiritual, and gospel songs, and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." The second half of the concert is all Christmas, with popular hits old and new, including songs recorded by Enya, Point of Grace, and Pentatonix. Allegro is a program of Palatine Park District. Tickets are $7, free for ages 2 and under.
Palatine Children's Chorus, December 8 at 1:00pm and 3:30pm. Come celebrate the season with Palatine Children's Chorus as they present their annual holiday concert, "Winter Dreams." The 1:00pm concert will feature all groups within the chorus and the 3:30pm show will include Intermezzo, Concert, and Honors Choirs. Palatine Children's Chorus is a program of Palatine Park District. Tickets are $12 for adults, $9 for seniors, students and children, and free for ages 2 and under.
It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, December 21 at 7:00pm. Family and friends of all ages are invited to the annual Susannah's Gift Scholarship Fund Benefit. Join us before the live radio play production of "It's A Wonderful Life" for carols starting at 6:30. This Palatine Park Foundation benefit event will also include raffle opportunities. Tickets are $10, free for ages 2 and under.p
