Glendale Heights Fest canceled for 2021

After careful consideration, the Village of Glendale Heights and the Glendale Heights Founder's Day Committee are sad to announce that Glendale Heights Fest 2021 has been canceled.

While taking into account the fluid nature of the Governor's Restore Illinois plan and addressing potential safety concerns, the village feels that it is in the best interest of the Glendale Heights Fest attendees, volunteers, entertainers, vendors, staff and community that this year's celebration be canceled.

Glendale Heights Fest has been the village's signature summer event since 1983.

This annual community celebration culminates with a breathtaking fireworks show to close out the event.

Glendale Heights Fest is annually planned around the village's anniversary (July 13) and brings in over 50,000 people during the five-day event.

The village is planning for Glendale Heights Fest to return in full next year. The dates for next year's event are July 13-17, 2022.

The Village of Glendale Heights and the Founders Day Committee extend their heartfelt gratitude for the public's past support of Glendale Heights Fest and looks forward to seeing everyone next year.
