Revolutionary War re-enactment at Cantigny

History will come alive Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8-9, as Cantigny Park in Wheaton plays host to a Revolutionary War re-enactment.

Dozens of re-enactors from the Northwest Territory Alliance will camp at the park at 1S151 Winfield Road to stage mock battles and provide a look at what life was like for soldiers and civilians in the 18th century.

The event is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days and is free with $10 parking. For details, visit cantigny.org.
