Broncos re-sign running back Ronnie Hillman
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Running back Ronnie Hillman has signed a one-year contract to return to the Denver Broncos.
The NFL Network reported the deal is worth $2 million and includes $600,000 in guarantees.
Hillman led the Broncos with a career-best 863 yards rushing and seven TDs last season, but he was benched in favor of C.J. Anderson in Super Bowl 50, where he ran five times for zero yards while Anderson piled up 90 yards in Denver's 24-10 win over Carolina.
Anderson recently signed a four-year, $18 million contract.
Also Monday, the Broncos signed free agent safeties Shiloh Keo and Brandian Ross to one-year contracts.
