Victim of Glenview hit-and-run stable; police seek info
A man injured in an apparent hit-and-run accident Sunday night is stable at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, police said Tuesday.
Glenview police received a report at about 8:48 p.m. Sunday of a person down on the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue. Officers found a man in his 40s who had injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle, police said. The vehicle had left the scene before police arrived.
The Glenview Fire Department took the man to Lutheran General.
The accident remained under investigation by Glenview police, an official said Tuesday.
