Schaumburg Twp. hosting tax appeals seminar Jan. 19

Schaumburg Township residents can appeal their Cook County property taxes with the Board of Review at the township through Jan. 25.

The township is open during the appeals period to assist residents from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. and from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The township has two options for appeals: Either email your home property index number, phone number, email and home address to Victor Morales at vmorales@schaumburgtownship.org, or schedule a walk-in appointment with the same information. Emailing your appeal information is strongly encouraged.

A free appeals seminar will be held at 6 p.m. Jan. 19, at the township office, 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.
