Naperville concerts encourage children to join the fun

The Naperville Park District's Children's Lunch Hour outdoor entertainment series features local artists who enjoy entertaining and involving children in the show.

The 45-minute concerts begin at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and run through July 26. The July 19 and July 26 shows will include a special performance by Élan Dance Company beginning at 11 a.m.

Locations alternate between the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, 500 W. Jackson Ave., just west of Centennial Beach, and Frontier Sports Complex, 3415 Book Road.

The 2016 summer schedule is as follows:

• June 21: Miss Jamie from the Farm at Frontier Sports Complex

• June 28: Super Stolie at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion

• July 12: Mary Macaroni's Music and Magic at Frontier Sports Complex

• July 19: Scott Piner at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, with preshow by Élan Dance Company

• July 26: Istvan and His Imaginary Band at Frontier Sports Complex, with preshow by Élan Dance Company
