Join in Chop Around the Clock this weekend

This marks the 28th year Foltos' Tonsorial Parlor, 7 E. Wilson St. in Batavia, has produced "Chop Around the Clock."

Beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, June 2, through 4 p.m. Saturday, June 3, they will cut hair and donate all the proceeds to the Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities.

This 24-hour fun-filled event will include music, dancing, bake sale, raffles, balloon blowing, bingo, open mic, poetry, hot dogs … the fun never stops! Last year, the event raised more than $10,000

They need bakers, dancers, entertainers, people to get haircuts, raffle ticket buyers and prizes to raffle; anything you can think of.

On Friday, June 2, there will be haircuts, food and balloon blowing from 4 to 5 p.m., followed by music and a brisket barbecue, hot dogs and more from 5 to 6 p.m. Kids' games and Ronald McDonald will begin at 7 p.m., with balloons, bingo, dancing, musicians, kids' games and more from 8 to 11 p.m.

From 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday, music really gets started, with stories, and ever-exciting late night haircuts.

At 8 a.m. Saturday, bring breakfast then enjoy musical entertainment from 8:30 to 10 a.m. It will be followed by kids' games, food and more music from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
