Wheaton accepting nominations for Good Citizens Awards

Wheaton's Community Relations Commission is looking to recognize residents for their good deeds and volunteer service during the past year of the pandemic.

The commission is accepting nominations for the city's 2021 Good Citizens Awards. Commission members will celebrate award recipients in the categories of student, adult and group. The Wheaton City Council will applaud the honorees at the May 17 meeting.

To nominate someone, fill out an online application at Wheaton.il.us/goodcitizen or mail your application to Wheaton City Hall, Attn: Andrea Rosedale, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, IL 60187.

Nominations are due by April 26. Nominees must be Wheaton residents.
