Warrenville cops probing vandalism spree

Warrenville police are asking the public for help in identifying the vandals who spray-painted gang symbols on the siding, fences and garage doors of about a dozen homes in the Thornwilde subdivision.

Police said the vandalism was discovered Tuesday and all of the targeted homes were close together. They stressed that the graffiti does not necessarily indicate a "credible presence" of gangs in the area.
