Mundelein Park District offers help with Thanksgiving planning

The Mundelein Park and Recreation District will host Thanksgiving Table, an educational program from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Regent Center, 1200 Regent Drive, Mundelein.

Offerings include flower-arranging demonstrations and cooking tips and D'oeuvres ideas. Participants also will learn to fold festive napkins, decorate children's tables to be interactive, no-fuss food ideas, make-ahead recipes, and more.

Local yoga expert Erin O'Neill will present simple measures to help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and heart rate.

Cost is $5 for Mundelein residents or $10 for nonresidents, ages 15 and up. Registration is required. Visit www.mundeleinparks.org to sign up, program #7421.
