Sox's Cease looking to build off impressive spring

With Lucas Giolito, Dallas Keuchel and Lance Lynn, the White Sox have three proven performers at the top of the starting rotation.

On Sunday night, Dylan Cease is determined to show he can be equally reliable.

The Sox's No. 4 starter was phenomenal in spring training, going 2-0 with a 1.06 ERA in 4 starts.

In his final Cactus League outing, vs. the Rockies Tuesday, Cease allowed 1 run over 5⅓ innings and had 11 strikeouts.

The 25-year-old righty opposes two-way Angels star Shohei Ohtani in a nationally-televised game on ESPN.

"I couldn't be more happy to end on a high note like that," Cease said of his exhibition finale. "I feel like I'm definitely ready to go. I want to be out on the field and I know that if I'm eating innings and doing what I can do, I'm going to give us a good chance to win."
