Girls volleyball: Maine West wins CSL North opener

Maine West's Nora Feyerer picked up the first conference win of her coaching career on Monday night in Des Plaines when the Warriors won their Central Suburban North opener.

West posted a 25-23, 25-11 triumph over Highland Park and improved to 8-8 overall.

Freshmen Jaclyn Riedl (12 kills, 3 aces), Junior Krysta Block (7 kills) and sophomore Clare Olson (20 assists, 6 aces) helped lead the way for West.
