Submissions open for 10th annual Geneva Film Festival set for March 2018

The Geneva Film Festival is seeking inspirational, creative, and imaginative filmmakers from around the world to submit their independent films to the 10th annual Geneva Film Festival, which is set to take place March 8-10, 2018.

Film submissions are accepted exclusively through the Film Freeway platform. The early-bird submission deadline is Wednesday, May 10.

Interested filmmakers can visit www.genevafilmfestival.org to apply and find more information on accepted categories and submission deadlines.

Submissions will be reviewed and judged by a panel of film professionals after the final submission deadline.

Filmmakers will be privately notified whether their film is selected by Dec. 12. Selected films will be announced shortly thereafter.

The Geneva Film Festival accepts submissions in these categories: narrative feature; documentary feature; narrative short; documentary short; animated short; musical short (music video); and student shorts: Student Visionary Award (college or graduate school), or Young Filmmaker Spotlight (grade school or high school)

The category length for features is a running time more than 40 minutes; for shorts, the running time is less than 40 minutes.

The regular deadline will be July 12, late and extended deadlines on Sept. 13 and Nov. 8. Prices increase after each deadline passes.
