DuPage Fair sponsors student art contest

The DuPage County Fair Association will award more than $20,000 in college scholarships when it sponsors its second annual Student Art Contest at this year's fair.

The association awarded more than $18,000 in scholarships last year to celebrate students' artistic talents - including $5,200 for the first-prize winner.

The contest is open to all high school students in the county who are enrolled in an accredited public or private school, or in a home school environment.

Entry forms and information is available on the fair website at www.dupagecountyfair.org. Forms also can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends at the fair office, 2015 Manchester Road, Wheaton.
