One injured in Glendale Heights crash

One person was taken to the hospital Sunday night after a two-vehicle crash in Glendale Heights, police said.

A car was heading south on Bloomingdale Road when it struck the side of a second car that was backing out of a residential driveway, Deputy Chief Brandon Oliver said. The collision caused one of the vehicles to flip onto its side.

One of the drivers was taken with minor injuries to a hospital, Oliver said.

Authorities remained at the scene Sunday night to investigate.
