Woodfield Mall hosts Lil' Chefs event June 10

From noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10, the Woodfield Mall Kidgits Club will host the Lil' Chefs event in the mall's Grand Court in Schaumburg.

Families will have the opportunity to explore the culinary world with various interactive activities.

Food-inspired arts and crafts, dessert decorating, cooking demonstrations and prizes from retailers will all be available to event attendees. All local families are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to help provide relief to those served by the Township of Schaumburg Food Pantry.

The Simon Kidgits Club strives to provide children with educational programs to learn important lessons about safety, health, wellness and more.
