Check out Kids Expo at Schaumburg Convention Center

The Family Time Magazine 12th annual Kids Expo will be at the Schaumburg Convention Center this weekend.

Mad Science and Rock N' Kids are just some of the highlights of the 2017 expo, which will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 31; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 1; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 2, at 1551 Thoreau Drive North, in Schaumburg.

The expo will feature several new attractions, like the Chicago Herpetological Society, with a large selection of reptiles and snakes. Another attraction is the three-hole putting course provided by Putting Around Town, which encourages youngsters to get involved with miniature golf.

The expo will also include giveaways featuring a scooter, Maru & Friends dolls and a bike. There will be inflatable bouncers, singing and dancing, and face painting.
