Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M announces scholarship winners

The Rotary Club of Wheaton A.M. is pleased to announce that the winners of its two scholarships are Colleen Ward (Wheaton North) and Ellin Pointner (St. Francis). Colleen will be attending Oklahoma University, and Elli will be attending Marquette University.

Each year the club selects two scholarship winners from among dozens of applicants from Wheaton Academy, St. Francis High school, Wheaton North High School, and Wheaton - Warrenville South High School. Scholarship winners each receive $1,000 per year for four years for college tuition.

Funds for the scholarships are provided by the club's fundraisers: poinsettia sales at Christmas, and the Fun Run in Color in April co-sponsored with the Wheaton Park District.
