The Holmstad to host 40th annual bazaar Sept. 30

Get your holiday shopping done early at The Holmstad's 40th annual bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, in the community's Town Center, 700 W. Fabyan Parkway, Batavia. Come early for the best bargains!

This year's bazaar, "Creative Gifts and More," consists of a boutique, collectibles, and fine, homemade goods and crafts, including unique glass fusion pieces, Christmas cards, jewelry, woodworking items, books, plants, gourmet nuts, and more.

Browse through a variety of gift ideas, like those gently used items found at the community's This 'n' That shop, and take home delicious homemade baked goods. A 77- x 62-inch quilt created by ladies of The Holmstad will be the featured raffle of the day.

While on campus, peruse The Holmstad's Gift Store for new items and the Home Store for gently used furniture. Take a break from shopping to enjoy a light lunch available for purchase without reservations.

The Holmstad Residents Association sponsors the bazaar each year. Profits contribute to the association's financial support of various causes throughout the year, including college scholarships for graduating high school seniors employed by The Holmstad; the Good Samaritan Fund and the Benevolent Fund to assist financially challenged residents; the Batavia Public Library; and the Batavia Fire Department, to name a few.
