Street dance in Wauconda Saturday

Wauconda will hold its annual street dance Saturday, Aug. 31. Organized by the Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce, the event will run from 4 to 11 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Wauconda. Music, street performers, fire department water fights and more are planned. Donations of canned food and other goods will be accepted for the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry, too. Admission is free.
