Glen Ellyn Historical Society puts on seventh annual Vintage Auto Fest

The Glen Ellyn Historical Society's seventh annual Vintage Auto Fest was a great success. More than 45 automobiles were on display and more than 300 people came to see and participate in the event. The temperature was in the 90s, but the enthusiasm hit an even greater degree.

The Illinois Department of Public Health COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Van was stationed on the grounds. Teenagers as well as adults took advantage of getting the Johnson & Johnson single-dose shots.

Antiques from the Glen Ellyn Historical Society collection were on sale inside the History Center and the Stacy's Corners Store did a brisk business.

Many exhibitors came to the event and had been coming with their cars for years.

This was a free event. The historical society is planning for the opening of Stacy's Tavern Museum after July 4. Stay tuned for news about reservations for tours.
