Bloomingdale police investigating reports of gunfire

Bloomingdale police are investigating reports of shots fired during a disturbance early Sunday morning in the 300 block of Plymouth Lane, authorities said.

No injuries were reported after officers responded to the scene about 4:30 a.m., according to a statement police released in their Facebook page. The scene was secured and there is no danger to the public, according to police.

One person is in custody and charges are pending with the DuPage County State's Attorney's office, Director of Public Safety Frank Giammarese said.
