Crystal Lake woman pleads guilty to stealing from former roommate

A Crystal Lake woman who authorities say stole a gaming system and video games from her former Elgin roommate pleaded guilty Wednesday to residential burglary.
Aryanna Eakins, 23, was sentenced to 24 months probation and ordered to pay $634 in fines, according to court records.
Prosecutors say Eakins moved out of the home in early June but returned several weeks later after her roommate left for work. He returned home and reported the burglary to police. A witness reported seeing a woman matching Eakins' description near the building.
Police located the missing gaming system at a local pawnshop.
