Fall Virtual Art & Music Classes at the Adler Arts Center
The Adler Arts Center, Libertyville's home for the arts, announces registration for a creative array of art and music classes. The Adler Center offers short sessions designed for busy adults and kids interested in trying something creative at home. Classes begin September 10.
Adult Classes: This fall, virtual classes for adults include an introduction to the Secrets of Drawing and Mixed Media Landscapes, as well as Illustrative Gouache, a vibrant watercolor pigment, and INKtober-a series of four drawing classes that coincide with October's popular daily drawing challenge. Each class in Inktober will feature a different medium or focus.
Youth Classes: Art classes for youth include a Fantasy Makeup class that turns ordinary face paints into extraordinary works of art. Fun Landscapes and Painting with the Great Masters will teach kids new skills in watercolors, pastels, and acrylics. In Día de los Muertos, young artists will learn about the festive traditions surrounding the Day of the Dead and make bright lanterns, pinatas, and paper banners to celebrate!
Family Art Workshops: The Adler Arts Center is ready for a VERY special Halloween season. Seasonal family workshops include fantasy makeup and Día de los Muertos sessions the whole family will love.
