Schaumburg fashion show to benefit homeless March 9

Fashion students from The Illinois Institute of Art - Schaumburg are creating designs to benefit the homeless.

The theme of the 2017 student fashion show is A.R.T. (Ascend, Rise, Transcend).

The show will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 9, at the Renaissance Convention Center, 1551 N. Thoreau Drive in Schaumburg.

Tickets are available online or at the door. The tickets are $25 for General Admission, $65 for VIP, and $15 for students with a valid ID.

All proceeds from the show will go to the charity organization, Hesed House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that focuses on providing shelter for the homeless, feeding the hungry and addressing other issues such as substance abuse and mental health.
