Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates Rotary offering grants
The Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates is accepting grant applications from community organizations who serve Schaumburg Township, the village of Schaumburg, or the village of Hoffman Estates.
Applications must be submitted by April 1. Visit the club's website, www.scherotary.org, to learn more and access the applications.
Organizations applying for the club's funding should be tax exempt under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All applications will be considered, but funding is not guaranteed.
"The Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates engages in year-round fundraising and is proud of its ability to support dedicated organizations that bring much needed services to those in greatest need within our communities," club President Tom Gosche said in an announcement of the grants.
The club has raised more than $5 million for the Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates communities, including $250,000 for the Women's & Children's wing of Amita St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates and $100,000 for the Children's Home + Aid Society's Schaumburg location, and contributed countless hours to local hands-on projects.
