Trickster Center in Schaumburg hosts D-Day documentary, exhibit opening June 5

The Trickster Cultural Center in Schaumburg will host a screening of the documentary "D-Day Warriors - It Was Our War Too" and the opening of a related exhibit at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5.

The film shares the recollections of Native American soldiers who took part in the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France. The event also will feature members of the D-Day Delegation, who will discuss their experiences.

Afterward, the center's D-Day exhibit will be open for viewing on the first-floor popup space, featuring photography from the D-Day Delegation.

The event is open to the public. The $5 tickets include popcorn.
