Hawthorn Mall hosts drive-in movie for charity Aug. 20

Hawthorn Mall at routes 21 and 60 in Vernon Hills will host a drive-in movie showing of "Jurassic Park" at sundown Thursday, Aug. 20, in the LOVE mural parking lot.

The lot will open at 6:30 p.m. Guests should stay in their vehicles and will be guided to socially-distanced parking spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $5 per vehicle.

Space is limited and an RSVP with one ticket per vehicle is required. Mobile or printed tickets will be accepted.

Proceeds will be used to feed health care workers at local hospitals.
