Brushwood holiday event
Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods, 21850 N. Riverwoods Road, Riverwoods, is hosting its annual Holiday Open House and Carol Sing from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10. Holiday crafts and treats, caroling, and a luminary nature walk in Ryerson Woods are included. Brushwood Center's latest art exhibit, "Foliage and Feathers," will be on display along with historic Brushwood photographs that open a fascinating window into local history. The event is free but donations are appreciated. Registration is recommended at BrushwoodCenter.org or by calling (847) 968-3308.
