Two Schaumburg indoor pools to be closed this week

The Schaumburg Park District's two indoor pools are set to undergo routine maintenance that will result in temporary closures at both locations.

The lap pool at Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road, will be closed Monday, July 11, to Monday, July 18. During the closure, pass holders may swim at The Water Works, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

The park district will host National Night Out from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way in Schaumburg.

The Water Works will be closed Aug. 8 to 21. Pass holders, ages 18 and older, may swim at Schaumburg Tennis Plus during the closure.
