Frank's Fresh Market unveils upgraded store

Frank's Fresh Market, a family-owned food store at 470 Georgetown Square in Wood Dale, recently underwent a full remodeling and upgrade of the business.

Owner Frank Ingraffia said the updated store features a new gelato bar-espresso/coffee bar, pastry case and a bigger deli and produce section. The market has added homemade cookies made from scratch by its pastry chefs.

The market also offers a variety of organic, gluten free and natural products, as well as homemade take-and-go prepared meals.

The store offers a variety of imports as well as gourmet products.

Ingraffia notes the remodeling project took about a year and the majority of the work was done during the overnight hours.

The work came after he and his previous partner split up after running Super Low Foods.

"My partner and I decided to separate the company because both of us had kids grown to have interest in running the business," he said. "Since the official split-up, my daughter and I, along with my family, have worked diligently to completely remodel and upgrade the store."

Ingraffia now runs the business with his daughters Serafina and Antonia and his wife, Adriana.
