Glady Macapagal promoted to executive director of River Woods

Glady Macapagal of Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood was promoted to executive director of Victory Centre of River Woods, 1800 Riverwoods Drive, owned and operated by Chicago-based Pathway Senior Living, LLC, a premier owner, operator, manager and developer of independent and assisted living communities for seniors.

In 10 years, Macapagal worked his way up from administrative assistant for Pathway's support center to executive director of Victory Centre of River Woods, an assisted living community in Melrose Park operating at full census with 125 residents. Macapagal held positions as a payroll specialist for the support center and as the business office manager for two Pathway communities. Seeking a professional challenge, Macapagal worked toward becoming an executive director by becoming an Affordable Assisted Living Coalition Certified SLF Manager and graduate of Leading Age's Leadership Academy.
