Licensed architect joins IRSC, taking company's building envelope expertise to next level

• Interstate Roof Systems Consultants Inc. (IRSC), a national building envelope consultant with offices in Wisconsin, Illinois and Colorado, is excited to welcome Daniel C. Beaty, AIA, CCS, a licensed architect, to its Elgin office.

Having a licensed architect on staff is vitally important for IRSC, a roofing and building envelope service firm. The move increases efficiency and creates a seamless design process for clients and prospects. By removing any third-party expertise from design procedures, IRSC can complete required project designs quickly. Expediting this timeframe helps keep clients' businesses and their employees safe.

Beaty comes to IRSC from Planera Architects, and has more than three decades' experience as a project manager and architect. He holds a B.S. in architectural studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He belongs to the Northeast Illinois Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Beaty is designated as a Certified Construction Specifier (CCS). His experience correlates directly with existing clientele of IRSC involved in education facilities and state-funded (CDB) projects, and lends itself to work involving bidding documents, technical specifications, construction administration, schematic design, building envelope work, infrastructure upgrades and life safety surveys.

Beaty's in-house proficiency will help increase competences while reducing turnaround time and costs to clients for IRSC's Design Services. He will work closely with IRSC's two CAD specialists to provide accurate and timely roof and building envelope blueprints, accelerating the repair and rebuild process for IRSC clients.
