City seeks nominations for 2018 Brilliance in Business Awards
The nomination period for West Chicago's Brilliance in Business Awards Program has opened and city leaders hope many in the community will be inspired to nominate a worthy business.
It's the highest honor given by the city in recognition of exemplary and innovative business practices, and the city would like public feedback.
Residents, businesses, nonprofit organizations and members of economic development organizations are encouraged to nominate a business for one or more award.
Businesses may nominate themselves.
"Whether you are an owner, employee, manager, or CEO of a company that continues to make strides to be successful in West Chicago, we want to hear your business' story," said Peter Kelly, the city's business development coordinator. "Also, we hope to hear from residents who have a positive story to tell about their favorite business in town."
Program guidelines and online or mail-in nomination forms are available at www.westchicago.org to make the process quick and easy.
The deadline for nominations is 11:59 p.m. Oct. 15.
To submit a nomination by mail, send the completed form to: City of West Chicago, 475 Main St., West Chicago, IL 60185, Attn: Community Development BIB Awards Program 2018.
