Is 'America first' really so bad?
I just read Connie Schultz's March 24 column. Not sure what her point is other than to get her opinion that she somehow knows President Trump is the worst president ever. People on the left all seem to know the future. Their vision of the past is what is nonexistent.
I then read about a kindergartner, obviously led by a liberal parent, suing the school district because they offer voluntary Bible study classes but this child might be vilified for opting out so the liberal parents feel that everyone's right to voluntarily attend must be violated.
Donald Trump won will the mantra of putting Americans first. And this is a horrible thought for some. Teaching the Bible? What a horrible thought. Having a man dress with the women? What a wonderful life. Keeping terrorists out and keeping Americans safe? Can't have that. Deport illegals. Never. Steal money from people that work to give to those that won't? Yes. Request that people work for their own? Can't have that.
This is why we don't listen to the left, Connie Schultz. We don't like what we hear from that side. We really like the idea of putting Americans and American values first.
Is putting America first really that bad?
