Gobble up green goodies during Brunch with the Grinch
Don't be a mean one! Join the Schaumburg Park District for a morning meeting with the ultimate holiday hero.
Brunch with the Grinch is set for 10-11:30 a.m., Dec. 10, at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road. The green-inspired menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, sandwiches, veggies, grapes and chips.
"We're looking forward to so much fun at the brunch," said Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor. "While you're enjoying your meal, the Grinch will be come around to the tables and meet with each child."
Activities include making Grinch masks, watching the film "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" and playing Pin-the-Heart on the Grinch.
Participants may bring cameras for photos with the Grinch. Cost is $12 per person for residents and $15 per person for non-residents. Children ages 2 and younger may attend the brunch for free, but must still be registered. Registration ends Dec. 7.
