Report: Bears running back Montgomery to miss 4-5 weeks with knee injury
Bears running back David Montgomery is expected to miss the next four to five weeks with a sprained left knee, ESPN is reporting.
Montgomery ran for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Detroit Lions Sunday before leaving the game injured in the fourth quarter.
Backup Damien Williams suffered a thigh bruise on Sunday. Coach Matt Nagy is expected to address Williams' availability Wednesday.
Sixth-round draft choice Khalil Herbert could see some more action, depending on the severity of Williams' injury.
