Hawthorn District 73 candidate forum set for March 18

The Hawthorn Education Association is hosting a school board candidate forum at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at a site to be determined.

The candidates will be answering questions submitted by members of the community and HEA. Audience participation will be limited because of social distancing requirements.

Anyone who wants to attend should email preshea38@gmail.com. Questions regarding the event or for candidates should also be emailed to that address. The forum will be held live, but it will be recorded to be viewed later.

Four candidates are running for three 4-year seats: Wesley Ann Polen, Michael Engle, Karl Borchers and, Alma Miranda.
