Girls golf: Glenbrook South wins Hersey Invite

Glenbrook South earned the championship of the Hersey Girls Golf Invitational on Saturday by scoring 311 at the par 68 Arlington Lakes Golf Club in Arlington Heights.

Host Hersey (388) took eighth place in the 12-team field while Rolling Meadows (417) was 11th.

Leading the Huskies were Mara Slosar (89), Claire Rogowski (93), McKenna Clapper (97) and Krista Thuer (109).

Top scorer for the Meadows was Nicole Von Oesen (96).
