Senior expo Aug. 24 in Vernon Hills

A senior expo to connect visitors with resources and information will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills.

Featured exhibitors include the Lake County recorder of deeds, Lake County treasurer, Illinois attorney general, Veterans Assistance Commission of Lake County and more. Seminars to include topics like aging in place or understanding and appealing property taxes will begin at 9:30 a.m.
