Naperville Central beat Naperville North and Waubonsie Valley downed Neuqua Valley, but both rivalries will endure a Week 6 rematch in DuPage Valley Conference play.

Long time coming

Lisle broke out to a 21-0 lead and beat Wilmington 27-6 in Interstate Eight Small play. It's Lisle's first victory over the perennial conference power since 1995.

History

The DuKane Conference made its debut on Friday as Wheaton Warrenville South, Batavia, St. Charles East and St. Charles North all won to get off to 1-0 starts.

Good start

Glenbard East is 3-0 for the first time since 1999 - the only time the Rams reached the playoffs. Unbeaten West Aurora and South Elgin await the next two weeks.
