Registration open for second annual Fox River Ramble
Fox River Arts, a collaborative group seeking to promote arts and culture in the Fox River Valley, is organizing the second annual Fox River Arts Ramble.
The Ramble, a collaborative effort of the Fine Line Creative Arts Center, the St. Charles Arts Council, and Water Street Studios, now in its second year, has been extended to a two-day self-guided tour of the arts in the Fox Valley.
Mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday, April 13-14. If you know an artist or arts organization who'd be interested in participating, share the information.
Last year's Ramble featured multiple artistic disciplines in over 40 locations in Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and Elgin, including open studios, galleries, art schools, museums, public art venues/tours, and creative spaces. Some of the spaces included: Gallery 1904, If These Walls Could Talk, Santori Public Library, and the SciTech Hands on Museum, all in Aurora; Beech Tree Studio, Gallery 28 and Proud Fox Gallery, all in Geneva; and Side Street Studio Arts in Elgin.
They are hoping to expand in 2019 and are giving attendees two full days of "rambling" so that you can visit more locations.
Through a partnership with the Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, Fox River Arts Ramble registration has been streamlined this year.
Visit the Fox River Arts website and click on "Register for 2019 Fox River Arts Ramble."
