Recycle paint in Palatine

A Palatine store will host a paint recycling event in conjunction with Earth Day on Saturday.

Latex paint can be dropped off from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at d'Vine Wine and Gifts, 243 E. Northwest Hwy. Oil-based paints will not be accepted.

Organizers are also asking for donations of $1 for a quart of paint, $4 for a gallon and $10 for a five-gallon bucket. Proceeds will benefit Connect To Community, a nonprofit that assists adults with developmental disabilities.
