Students engineers test their skills in Mount Prospect

About 80 engineering students from across the region put their skills and knowledge to the test Tuesday during an event at Bosch Tool Corporation in Mount Prospect.

The students are recipients or aspiring recipients of the joint credentialing program between Project Lead The Way, a leading provider of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) curricula and The College Board.

As part of the event, students took part in an engineering development and design competition, with the Bosch team judging the results.

They also took a tour of the Bosch facility and participated in a panel discussion with Bosch President John Kavanagh and company executives and engineers.
