Club provides hope of change for the better
Way to go, Boys & Girls Club. What a great way to start the week, reading about a program that is helping kids in the suburbs! According to the article, the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin provides a tech lab, library-like center, art room, game room, etc. "This is like my second home," one of the kids remarked. With the daily onslaught of bad news and wayward youth, this gives us encouragement for positive change in our world, starting with one community and dedicated staff and volunteers. I hope other organizations in the suburbs and Chicago follow the club's example.
