Chicago Finalist for the PBS show, Celebration of Music!
Schaumburg High School Sophomore, Eleanor Ekovich needs your vote because she needs thousands of votes to win Chicago! She is a Chicago Finalist for the PBS show, Celebration of Music! Voters can vote more than once, if you use different emails like home/school/work. In fact, the producers suggested that strategy! Eleanor is a native of Schaumburg and has performed well over 100 times at the Prairie Center for the Arts. She has performed with Schaumburg Dance Ensemble's Nutcracker, Schaumburg Summer Theater, Helping Others Through Theater (HOTT) Productions, Schaumburg Mystery at the Theater, Holiday Presto Concerts, and with Rise Dance Center. She has also performed at Cutting Hall in Palatine with Tesseract and at Metropolis in Arlington Heights. She has been cast in several short/student/independent and feature films, appeared on WGN as a Friday Forecaster, and been called for private auditions for network TV. Eleanor dances with the Schaumburg Sizzlers Poms and Competitive Dance Team. She also takes Dance Gym and is a member of the Concert Choir and Treble Ensemble, at SHS. Eleanor trains in on-stage and on-camera acting, voice, and dances at a pre-professional level. She also competes with her private studio.
If she wins Chicago, she will perform a live full-length solo at the Park West on May 6th, travel to LA to film a PBS nationally-televised show, record and perform live with Ethan Bortnick!!
