Ribbon Cutting at the new Streamwood McDonald's

The Streamwood McDonald's located at 91 W. Irving Park Rd. celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting, cake cutting, and VIP party on Monday night, December 12th.

It was a standing room only crowd at McDonald's. Marc Bear, owner operator, is proud to bring Streamwood an upscale, new McDonald's for the community to enjoy for years to come. The Bear Family has owned the Streamwood McDonald's for 39 years, and they have been McDonald's operators for 49 years.

At the VIP party, Marc Bear welcomed friends, colleagues, village employees, Streamwood Chamber members, and representatives from the local schools for a special grand opening VIP event. First and foremost important was a presentation made by Village President Billie Roth. Also in attendance was many Village Trustees, all the Streamwood Chamber Members, and many other Streamwood community VIP's. Additional speakers at the event included the following: Jim Carras, McDonald's Vice President and General Manager of the Chicago Region, and of course the owner, Marc Bear. The event featured complimentary McDonald's appetizers, and drinks from the new Refresh Touch Screen Interactive Drink Dispenser, and of course the cake. The event featured a special appearance by Ronald McDonald.
